Insight Policy Research to Evaluate CMS Innovation Center’s Integrated Care for Kids Model

September 18, 2020 by Caroline Brent-Chessum

Insight is pleased to announce a partnership with Abt Associates to design and implement a mixed-methods evaluation of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Integrated Care for Kids (InCK) Model. InCK is a child-centered local service delivery and state payment model that aims to reduce expenditures and improve the quality of care for children under 21 years covered by Medicaid through prevention, early identification, and treatment of behavioral and physical health needs. CMS awarded eight cooperative agreements to partners in seven states.

Terry Moore, senior vice president at Insight, shares, “We look forward to contributing to this important work for children, particularly those with behavioral and other health needs, and to continuing our longstanding work in evaluating HHS programs related to maternal and child health.”
