Insight Promotes Literacy in Prisons

Last year Insight was proud to conduct a book drive and collect more than 50 books to support DC Books to Prisons, a nonprofit volunteer organization that sends books to more than 600 prisons throughout the country. Many prisons do not have libraries and do not allow inmates to receive books from friends or families. This organization seeks to promote literacy, learning, and the well-being of inmates, sending more than 5,000 packages of books a year to inmates.
