Insight provides technical assistance to minority-serving community colleges sponsored by the Office of Career, Adult, and Technical Education at the U.S. Department of Education. For this work, Insight leads monthly technical assistance activities to faculty, staff, and administrators from two communities of practice: Predominantly Black Institutions and Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
The focus of this technical assistance is to engage community college faculty, staff, and administrators in a cycle of continuous improvement at their institution. Activities include leading communities of practice, in-person and online technical assistance, and webinar development. Representatives of minority-serving institutions regularly give Insight positive feedback on the usefulness of these technical assistance activities for addressing problems and improving programs at their institutions.
