Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services 2018 Focus Group Report

This summary report outlines the findings from focus groups conducted for the 2018 Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services (DACOWITS). DACOWITS collected qualitative and quantitative data during visits to nine military installations representing all four U.S. Department of Defense Service branches (Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Navy) and the Coast Guard. During the focus groups held at these sites, the Committee addressed four topics: marketing, instructors, career and family planning, and unit climate and culture.
