Breanna Wakar

Breanna’s expertise includes cleaning, editing, tabulating, and analyzing data and translating analysis results into clear, easy-to-read reports. She is experienced in a variety of statistical methods and proficient in the use of statistical packages and analytic software such as SAS, R, Stata, and SPSS. She has experience with complex and large datafiles.

At Westat Insight, Breanna supports projects such as an evaluation of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid’s State Performance Standards System and a network analysis of the Advanced Technological Education program for the National Science Foundation.

After earning an M.A. in statistics from the University of Michigan, Breanna received a fellowship from Data Science for Social Good, where she built predictive models for real-world application. Prior to joining Insight, Breanna conducted statistical research analyses for government and public-sector clients at Mathematica Policy Research.
