Danielle (Dani) Hansen is a qualitative researcher with expertise in the field of nutrition. At Westat Insight, she supports projects for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service focused on a variety of nutrition assistance programs. Dani leads qualitative and survey research tasks and co-authors reports for projects such as the WIC Waiver Reporting Project and Disaster SNAP Best Practices.

Earlier, Dani completed a dietetic practicum at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center where she developed a foundation of clinical skills and hands-on experience in community nutrition. She achieved her M.S.P.H. in human nutrition from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and she is a registered dietitian.
