Hollie Harsanyi

Hollie Harsanyi is a data scientist with over 5 years of experience in data visualization and quantitative data analytics. Her expertise is in displaying data in easy-to-understand reports, dashboards, and presentations. Ms. Harsanyi develops visualizations in Tableau, Power BI, and AWS QuickSight and is an experienced SAS programmer.

At Westat Insight, Hollie supports projects for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and other federal and foundation clients.

Earlier, Hollie was an epidemiology data analyst at the Indiana Department of Health, specializing in data management, analytics, and visualization with hospital discharge and vital statistics data. She supported efforts in drug overdose surveillance, maternal and child health, and infectious disease reporting. She holds an M.P.H. in nutritional sciences and a B.S. in evolutionary anthropology with a minor in biochemistry from the University of Michigan. Hollie is a certified Tableau specialist.
