Michael DiBello

Michael DiBello is a researcher with experience in technical support, qualitative and quantitative research, policy analysis, project management, and federal rule making. He has a strong background in nursing home policy and program development.

Michael has supported projects for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service (FNS). He currently supports CMS’s State Performance Standards Implementation, Reporting, and Subject Matter Expertise and Integrated Care for Kids projects. He also serves as deputy project director for FNS’s WIC Analysis and Modeling for Improper Payments project.

Earlier, Michael was a research public health analyst at RTI International. While there, he supported the development and implementation of Medicare’s Skilled Nursing Facility Value-Based Purchasing Program. Michael holds an M.P.H. with a concentration in health policy and management from Boston University.
