Polina Zvavitch

Polina Zvavitch is a researcher with experience in quantitative data collection and analysis. Her primary expertise is in demographic data, sociological research, and social services.

At Westat Insight, Polina supports several projects for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service focused on the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). Polina serves as a project manager for WIC Participant and Program Characteristics and WIC Breastfeeding Policy Inventory II.

Earlier, Polina was a graduate student at the University of Maryland where she completed her Ph.D. in sociology. At the University of Maryland, Polina served as a research assistant on several projects on poverty, health, and demographic trends.
