Samuel Correa

Samuel Correa is a quantitative analyst with a passion for using data to inform and drive decision-making for positive and equitable change. He uses Stata, R, SQL, Python, and Tableau to clean, analyze, and visualize data to inform programs, policy, and practice. At Westat Insight, Samuel supports clients such as the U.S. Department of Education, the National Science Foundation, and the Institute for Higher Education Policy. For these clients, he provides data management, analysis, and visualization of large and complex datasets.
Prior to joining Westat Insight, Samuel worked as a fellow at the Tennessee State Collaborative on Reforming Education, supporting advocacy through research and analysis. He also worked as a research assistant at the American Institutes for Research, supporting contracts with the National Center for Education Statistics and co-authoring conference presentations. Samuel holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Idaho and a master’s of public policy in education policy from Vanderbilt’s Peabody College.
