Victoria (Tori) Martin

Victoria (Tori) Martin is a skilled research assistant with experience in qualitative data collection and analysis, report writing, and project management. She currently supports projects for the U.S. Department of Education, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Administration for Children and Families, and the Administration for Community Living (ACL).

At Westat Insight, Tori supports projects in the health and education areas. She currently serves as a project manager and site liaison for Promise Neighborhoods, a Department of Education program that awards grants to organizations seeking to significantly improve the educational and developmental outcomes of children and youth in distressed communities. Tori has also supported the Field-Initiated Research on Aging Topics project for ACL, where her work has involved coding literature using NVivo, contributing to an in-depth literature review, and assisting in conducting interviews with family caregivers.

Prior to her work at Westat Insight, Tori was a Fulbright English teaching assistant in Laos, where she taught high school English. She also published a research case study on the resegregation of public schools. Tori holds a B.A. from Villanova University, where she majored in education and social justice.
